supreme ordeal
It was after I cancelled my enrollment into NAU that everyone I knew persuaded me to apply to ASU instead. I thought surely there was no way I could go to ASU because they must be even more expensive than NAU and spring semester was about to start. Even though I knew the odds were against me, a part of me still wanted to try. I had barely gotten my application to ASU submitted two days before their deadline. Within a week and a half I was accepted in and it was the greatest feeling of accomplishment I had thus far. With the help of financial aid I was able to attend ASU because I didn’t have to dorm which made my tuition manageable. I decided that I would major in graphic design which was a vital part of my career path. Little did I know that I would have to pick a minor or a second major because I had already taken most of my required classes. I would have to go to school full time to keep my financial aid. Another issue was that I would spend another four years in school because the graphic design program didn’t consider transfer students.
